Cody Freston, MBA
CEO
Our CEO and Owner Cody Freston has over 20 years of Hospice experience. Founder of Doctor's Hospice of Idaho and Doctor's House Calls of Idaho, Cody graduated from the University of Utah. He holds an MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Leadership. He is active in healthcare community as the publisher of the Seniors Blue Book of Idaho, as the former Board Chair of the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Idaho Chapter, former national board advisor for the Alzheimer’s Association, and has been a national and local congressional delegate for the Alzheimer’s association representing the state of Idaho. Cody is also the Cofounder of Cherry Heights Family Clinic, and is a member of the Idaho Healthcare Association. Cody is also involved in the local business community as the Membership Chair for HAPPEN, a Chamber Ambassador for the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, and a recipient of Boise's "40 Accomplished under 40." Cody served on the administration team of a large multi-specialty, multi-location, physician-owned practice overseeing coding, billing, patient accounts, medical records, and registration.

Christina Pike, CPC
CFO
Christina oversees the billing and administrative support for our wound care programs in Idaho, Utah, Arizona, and Tennessee. Tina served as the Doctor's Hospice of Idaho Director of Operations in addition to Billing Manager for Cherry Heights Family Medicine, and the Reimbursement Director for Knoxville Foot and Ankle. Christina obtained her AAPC Certificated Professional Coder License in 2016 after attending Carrington College for Medical Billing & Coding. She has worked in the Home Health arena for over 10 years, specializing in Hospice for the last 4 years.

Elaine Ratchford
Business Support Manager
Elaine functions as support for a wide array of administrative duties for our clients, including Doctor’s Consulting Solutions, Doctors House Calls, Cherry Heights Family Clinic and Doctors Hospice of Idaho. Elaine has completed her AAPC program from American Academy of Professional Coders and holds a BA Public Health, from Boise State University. Elaine has worked for over 8 years in the medical administration field and joined this amazing team late 2021 and has never been happier.

Tahlia Dennis
Revenue Management Specialist
Tahlia supports our billing department that services our Wound Care programs in Idaho and Utah. Tahlia graduated from Arizona State University with an Associate’s degree in Business. Tahlia obtained her AAPC Certificated Professional Coder License in 2016 after attending Carrington College for Medical Billing & Coding. She offers knowledge in billing and coding in the specialties of Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, General Health and Wound Care.

Carolee Knox, LPN
Clinical Provider Intake Support
Carolee has been a nurse for the last 11 years, specializing in geriatric care. She is passionate about providing the best care to her patients. With her extensive knowledge of geriatric patients and administration experience she provides not only great customer services to her patients, but to providers as well. She takes pride in giving the best quality of care to patients, enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, boating, swimming and just anything water related.

April Lopas
Intake Coordinator/Insurance Verification Specialist
Specializing in patient care and admission’s in Hospice care for 18 years, April has also worked directly caring for patients in their homes and facilities throughout her life. Her passion is to provide the best care possible no matter what role she's played in health care. The patient deserves only the best care and April knows that includes not only supporting patients but the medical staff. To this day she continues to love what she does through helping others.
